Overview of the Appropriate Body Fidelity Checks

Pre-induction checklist

The headteacher has provided a suitable post for inductionThe ECT has appropriate opportunity to complete induction

Pre-induction checks will take place through correspondence with the headteacher and/or induction tutor.

Ongoing quality assurance of induction – appropriate body checklist:

In the first year of induction, the ECT has a reduced timetable of no more than 90% of the timetable of the school’s existing teachersThe ECT has sufficient time to engage with the ECF-based induction programme
