Making Space for Science in the Curriculum

Our primary conferences always provide outstanding learning opportunities linked to topical developments in primary Science teaching alongside time to talk and share ideas with other primary practitioners. The focus of this conference is to consider how to maximise the use of curriculum time by making effective connections between Science and other subjects including English, Mathematics and D&T.

Workshops will include: Linking numeracy and Science, Exploring the latest practical ideas including CLEAPSS, Linking Science and D&T through levers and mechanisms and Putting the E(Engineering) into STEM, Science in EYFS.

There are a limited number of 70% Teacher Release Payment subsidies available to Maintained schools which will reduce the cost to only £30. This is only available to the first 15 bookings. Please email NMSLP@potteries.ac.uk to ask for the TRP code. Please note that this does not automatically deduct the fee immediately.  You will receive an invoice for the full amount and the Teacher Release Payment will be released back to the school once attendance at the event has been confirmed.
