Fees and funding

Some Secondary PGCE trainees will be eligible for bursaries or scholarships – an individual cannot be awarded both. These are only available in some shortage subjects and are awarded at the discretion of the DfE. Even if you have been accepted on a course in a shortage subject, this does not guarantee you a bursary. Applications are made through the University as part of enrolment onto the PGCE side of training.
